What Shadow Strike collects, why, and what's yours to control. In short: the app itself collects nothing personal — your save file never leaves your device. The only outside data flows are the ones Google's own services (ads, purchases) generate when you choose to use them.
Information we collect directly
We don't require an account to play. The app doesn't ask for your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information, and has no login or sign-up screen.
Your progress — coins, gems, unlocked levels, upgrades, characters, cosmetics, and settings — is stored only on your device using Android's local app storage. It is never transmitted to us and we have no way to see it. Uninstalling the app or using "Reset Progress" in Settings erases it completely and permanently.
Information collected by third-party services
The app uses two third-party Google services that collect data under their own privacy policies, independent of us:
- Google AdMob (advertising). Shows optional, opt-in rewarded video ads (for example, "Watch Ad to Unlock" or "Watch Ad to Revive"). To do this, AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as your Android advertising ID), general device information, and approximate location derived from IP address, and may use this to select and measure ads. You are never shown an ad without choosing to tap a "Watch Ad" button first. See Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data disclosure documentation for details, and your device's ad settings for controls over ad personalization.
- Google Play Billing (in-app purchases). If you buy a gem pack or Remove Ads, that purchase is processed entirely by Google Play, not by us. Google Play handles your payment method, receipt, and transaction data under its own privacy policy. We only receive a confirmation that a purchase completed, which we use to credit the corresponding gems or remove ads on your device — we never see your payment details.
Google Play services more broadly (crash reporting, security, and app distribution) may also collect basic diagnostic data as described in Google Play's own privacy policy.
How information is used
Locally stored progress is used only to run the game as you'd expect — remembering your coins, unlocked levels, and settings between sessions. Data collected by AdMob is used to serve and measure ads. Data collected by Google Play Billing is used to process and validate purchases. We do not sell any data, and we do not have our own analytics, tracking, or advertising systems beyond the two Google services described above.
Data sharing
We do not share any data with third parties ourselves, because we don't collect any to share — the only data leaving your device goes directly to Google (via AdMob and Google Play Billing) under Google's own privacy policy, not through us.
Data retention and deletion
Local save data stays on your device until you use "Reset Progress" in Settings or uninstall the app — either immediately and permanently deletes it. We hold no copy of it. For data held by Google's services, refer to Google's own privacy policy for their retention and deletion controls.
Children's privacy
Shadow Strike is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can review or reset your ad personalization settings in your device's system settings at any time. You can erase all local progress via Settings > Reset Progress. You can request a purchase refund through Google Play's own refund process.

The rules for playing Shadow Strike — your license to use the app, how virtual currency and purchases work, and where liability stops.
Eligibility
Shadow Strike is intended for players who are 18 years of age or older. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or create derivative works from the app except as permitted by applicable law.
Virtual items and in-app purchases
The app features virtual currencies ("Coins" and "Gems") and virtual cosmetic items earned through play or purchased with real money. Virtual currencies and items:
- have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or cashed out for real money or anything of value outside the app;
- are licensed to you, not sold — we retain ownership of all virtual currency and items;
- may be lost if your device's local save data is deleted (by you, or by uninstalling the app) — we hold no backup copy;
- are non-refundable except where required by law or by Google Play's own refund policy.
All real-money purchases are billed and processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's own terms and refund policies, in addition to these Terms.
Advertising
The app shows optional, opt-in video ads (for example, to unlock a level early or double a reward) through Google AdMob. Ads are never required to progress through the app's core content.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: use cheats, exploits, unauthorized third-party software, or bugs to gain an unfair advantage; interfere with the app's normal operation; or use the app for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of virtual currency or items, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to the app for violating these Terms or for any other reason, at our discretion.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms, which will be published here with a new "Last updated" date.
Governing law
